Product Description

In Howard Hawks's screwball masterpiece adapted from the stage play THE FRONT PAGE by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur, star reporter Hildy Johnson (Rosalind Russell), once married to suave editor Walter Burns (Cary Grant), plans to leave the stressful newspaper world behind and marry a boring insurance agent. The Bottom Line: A crazy yet charming and enjoyable stage comedy from the '40's. Watch Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell and Howard Hawks make magic
Review: Based upon the Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur play "The Front Page", "His Girl Friday" is one of the most terrific and enjoyable of screwball comedies, as well as a satire of the newspaper business (Which explains it lack of Oscars).
