A lot of carriers are strappy and hard to figure out. The Hip Hammock has just 2 straps: one is a waist belt (thats easy enough to figure out.); the 2nd belt is adjusted to fit over ones head and across their upper body (like a shoulder bag). And thats it!

Playtex Hip Hammock Baby Carrier

Pros: Affordable, portable, machine washable, easy to use, comfortable.
Cons: Slightly restricted movement of your arm on the side you wear it.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Hip Hammock to any active child care giver who needs to accomplish tasks other than sitting with the baby, but who also considers the baby's comfort important.

HIPpest Carrier in Town...!

Pros: Comfort; evenly distributes weight; one hand free; good looks
Cons: One-handedness; rubs against neck; tough to learn?; no knapsacks.
The Bottom Line: Might not be right for all families, but it works for me and I love it!
