The HP 8270 has flaws but gets the job done

The Bottom Line: The HP Scanjet 8270 is not a perfect scanner. Room for improvement is there, but it sure made my work a lot easier.

Review: I purchased this scanner to scan 2 sided documents for financial record keeping. What a mistake. Forget the speed listed in the marketing specs. If you use the ADF, expect 112-179 seconds per side at 600 DPI. Then, all the images appear very light...
