The Bottom Line: Don't get this laptop. Even if it was $500 I wouldn't purchase it again.
Review: I got my HP Pavillion tx 2000Z about 6 months ago for around $1300. I bought mine basically because Bestbuy was out of the 6 laptops I wanted before it.

But I was pleasantly surprised with how much I like this one. I like how it has a finger...

HP Packard Pavilion tx1000z

The Bottom Line: Initially I loved this machine.  However, given the poor HP support and electronic breakdown, I cannot recommend the machine.
Review: We bought two machines and were pleased initially.  In each case, after each warranty expired, the respective machine broke so that it could not be turned on.  The on-off switch left the screen blank at the same time that hardware indicator lights...
