The HP LaserJet 5P printer is designed for individuals and small workgroups. It meets high-quality printing standards and a variety of type fonts. Two trays allow printing sizes from postcard to legal without changing trays. An IrDA-compliant infrared port comes standard, allowing wireless printing from the latest IrDA-compliant portable systems. Two parallel ports and one LocalTalk port (with auto switching between all ports) provide easy sharing and expanded use. Standard SIMM memory slots allow for memory expandability, optional printer language, or custom SIMM solutions.??The HP LaserJet 5P printer uses HP's Enhanced PCL 5 (Printer Command Language Level 5), a printer language that is standard for desktop laser printing in PC operating environments such as Microsoft Windows and DOS.
