Product Description

 
This collection contains the entire first season of the cult favorite television series HERCULES - THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS. A hit when it aired, the series was preceded by five television movies, also included in this set. The show stars Kevin Sorbo as Hercules, the son of Zeus and a mortal woman, Alcmene. Given to tempestuous fits of anger, Hercules decides to control his rage once and for all by using his supernatural abilities for the good of man. Along with his friend Iolaus, Hercules roams the Earth to fight mythological monsters and help humanity.

The Bottom Line: Hercules: The Legendary Journeys was the beginning of something different and paved the way for many other shows in this genre to finally be accepted.
Review: Back in 1994, Universal TV hosted the Action Pack featuring a 2-hour movie each week. I got sucked into this offering because of a show called Vanishing Son (anyone remember that?). But there was another show that was completely different in nature...
