Now kids can direct the action and make their own digital movies. The VCamNow is a portable digital camera made especially for kids to shoot video footage and take photographs. 32MB of built-in storage holds up to 480 pictures or 7 minutes of video. Kids can view their digital movies and photos on TV and view, edit and send video and photos on the computer. Or view on the built-in 1.5" color flip-out screen.

The Bottom Line: good for a kid, a bit pricey for what you get, but the best I have been able to find geared to kids

Review: The basic functions are so easy that my two boys (three,five) are working it.The lighting problem, well there is none, so reason being unless you do every special moment you are wanting caught on tape fixing the lighting may be a big deal.Definitely...

Review: My daughter just bought this video camera with some money she got for Christmas. We're going to promptly return this thing. The video is absolutely atrocious. It definitely isn't worth $80 - probably < $10 IMHO.
