Make your program selections from a vast array of digital, analog and wide-bandwidth component video inputs, manage the bass with our Triple Crossover system, and extend the music to a second zone with A-BUS Ready technology or assignable rear-channel amplifiers. Wherever you want your music and movies, howeverloud you want them, the AVR 525 can handle the job.

The Bottom Line: This receiver (and other HK receivers as well) will last you for practically a lifetime. Harman Kardon has a great reputation and excellent tech support--you won't regret your purchase

A good thing in a big package

The Bottom Line: For the price that remanufactured units can be had, this is a great buy. Puts some older separate amps and preamps to shame for sound quality.
Review: SOUND: The 525 has a beautiful sound, with tight detailed bass, a neutral and detailed midrange, and perhaps a slightly laid back top end. imaging and openness are excellent - much better than my previous Technics receiver or even my Hill Audio...
