Very Happy with the Sony DVD92

The Bottom Line: Excellent product, very happy with the compact lightweight design. Very easy media to use. Excellent choice for family home video. Easy to copy DVD and send to friends and family.
Review: I own (have owned), a Sony Video 8, Samsung Mini-DV, and now the Sony DVD92, and I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the mini disc format.

I'm not sure what other people use their home vides for, but the 30 minute time doesn't really...

Decent DVD Camcorder

The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this camera based on ease of use, relatively low price and quick media viewing for the person who could care less about editing their movies.
Review: This is my first camcorder ever. We purchased it on 5/29/05 at Circuit City for $569 plus tax(before $25 Sony Mail-in rebate). I hadn't done any research on this camera because I went to the store with the intentions of purchasing Sony's DCR-DVD403...

Amazing quality at a low price!

The Bottom Line: I recommend this camcorder to people who want easy operation, high quality picture and sound, DVDRW, but are not looking for a USB port.
Review: There is really only one reason not to buy this camera; it doesn't have a USB connection. However, it's the only cheap DVD camera that can record on erasable DVDs. I record everything onto one DVDRW, rip it to my hard drive, and then erase the DVD...
