The Bottom Line: I would prefer an absolutely simple glass carafe & hot plate system.
Review: We had to get a new coffee maker, as our 15 year appliance's glass carafe developed cracks.  After a bit of research, we settled on the 'Hamilton Beach Stay or Go' - particularly because my wife wanted a thermal carafe and neither of us wanted...

The Bottom Line: Hot coffee, no glass, auto shutoff - what more could you ask for?
Review: In general, I prefer thermos coffeemakers as they are on only for the brew cycle; the danger of leaving your coffeepot on is over. All-steel thermal carafe coffeemakers like this one are even better, because the thermos will keep your coffee hot for...
