Gilmour 9100 unit lasts 5 years.

Pros: Easy to install and change batteries. Uses batteries slowly. Doesn't leak like other brands.

Cons: Although programming is easy, checking the program needs translation.

Review: I bought this unit and have only changed the batteries twice; it continued to work like magic over the years. I had to buy a Melnor for another area that leaked out of the box and I had to change the battery several times a year compared to ...
