Gentleman Jack is a single whiskey, not a combination of whiskies blended together. Unlike any other whiskey, it was charcoal mellowed twice, once before aging and once again after. A Gentleman Jack, but not an Officer

Jack Daniel's Older, Better Brother ~ Not Sure about Rare

The Bottom Line: Gentleman Jack is a more refined brother to the Jack Daniels we all love (most of us). One extra step makes it more refined and smooth.
Review: Gentleman Jack is like the 25-year old Scotch compared to its 12-year old younger brother. The ingredients are exactly the same – just the process is slightly changed for the Gentleman.

Smoother than JD, and not as tasty

The Bottom Line: Smoother and less tasty than JD. Good if you value smoothness over taste. I prefer taste.
Review: I got a 750mL bottle of this when it was on sale at the LCBO. It was only $30 CDN, as opposed to about $27.50 for a bottle of regular JD. I figured it was worth a try, although I likely wouldn't have bought it at the regular price of $35. I've drank...
