Imitrex (SUMATRIPTAN) is a cerebral vasoconstrictor used to relieve migraine headache attacks as they occur. This medicine belongs to a group of medicines also known as "triptans". This medicine will not prevent or reduce the number of attacks you experience. This medicine may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Imitrex really works!!

The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to anyone as long as they see their doctor before trying it.
Review: I have been using Imitrex for my migraines for several years now, believe me when I say it works.

It is not a preventive medication, It is for when you are having a migraine, in my experience it is best to drink your pill and lay down...
