The Bottom Line: The "Tree is Life" metaphor is pure Koontz. It is worth the price of a hardcover when it provokes reflection on the nature of evil, faith and reality.

Koontz Sees Success From the Corner of His Eye

The Bottom Line: A great story that brings together many of Koontz' prize elements of his successful books. Definitely would recommend it to anyone!
