Product Description

 
Simply put, the Ford GT is an all-American supercar that was created in homage to the GT40 racecars that dominated competition at Le Mans in the mid-1960s. A supercharged, midmounted V-8 produces 550 horsepower, which is roughly equivalent to the output from the original, larger engine that went into competition GT40 cars. A limited-edition model for 2006 commemorates Ford's 1966 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Bottom Line: If you have a $150K to spend and you would like a truly American car that you can actually be proud of - go for it.
Review: How it happened... I was eating out side in front of Bruger's Bagles in UTC in San Diego, CA with a friend. Then I saw an amazing sport car out of the corner of my eye and said "what was that"?

We walked over to the car and the owner...
