Product Description

 
The 1997 Econoline cargo van is available in five models - E150, E250, E250 Super, E350 and E350 Super. The super models are cargo extended. The Econoline is being built in Lorain, Ohio with a new standard 4.2LV6, optional; Triton 4.6LV8, Triton and 5.4LV8 engines. For the first time in any cargo van, Ford is offering an optional Triton 6.8L V10 engine. The 100,000 mile tune up is standard on all engines. Covering 48% of the market share, the E150 is a 1996 BOVY award winner (best overall value) in the full-size van category. The Econoline is equipped with the following new features; passenger side air bag, instrument panel, front bumper, and courtesy light switches on all doors. Exclusive to the E250 and E250S is an optional heavy duty package.

Good Van

The Bottom Line: Very good van.
Review: I have driven this van at work off and on
for about three years. We got it brand new.
I used it mostly to deliver fifty five gallon
drums of liquid chemicals. I could load up to
six drums at a time plus the pumping equipment...

The Bottom Line: Highly recommended! Very durable, holds value well, ample room, worry-free.
Review: I purchased a 1997 E-250 extended work van from a friend of mine who owned a drain cleaning company. Paid $2000 for it with approx 150k on the clock. I now have 180k.

The Good:
Has never once failed to start. Holds all my tools plus...
