A Decent Medium-Duty Shredder, but Also a Noisy Litterbug

Pros: eats thick wads of paper, chews through cards, Safe Sense technology

Cons: noisy motor, poorly-designed paper basket

The Bottom Line: If you keep a close eye on your shredder's basket and wear ear plugs, a Fellowes PowerShred DC-12Cs could be just what you need. Otherwise, you might want to reconsider.

Powerful Shredder, but Messy

Pros: Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and Paperclips too.

Cons: Messy. If the basket gets too full, it won't come out.

The Bottom Line: Powerful shredder with basket jamming if it gets too full. Users will need to check basket often.
