attractive for many reasons but lacking

The Bottom Line: buy something else - and usually, you do not get much in the sub-$200 price range.
Review: I bought the SC785 because it was smallish, had the fan by pass, and because it had the folding handle. The suction straight down is good - but edge pickup (what edge pickup?) is really poor. It is an exercise in "minimalist" manufacturing - they...

Review: Just got it, very impressive suction. Pulls itself along you would swear it is self-propelled. It is not loud but has a high pitched noise, I've heard better, so far my only complaint. Very easy to maneuver & easy to switch from carpet to floor...
