Pretty good, but not as great as I first thought

The Bottom Line: Not the ultimate image quality I was hoping for; there may be better out there.
Review: I bought this as it was A-listed (best flatbed scanner) in the UK's PCPro Magazine.

I bought it just for scanning some old photos in print, negative and slide formats, and this ticked all those boxes, as well as offering excellent quality...

crappy film scan; mediocre photo scan; 4800 DPI not true;

Review: Photo scan is not as good as my 6 year old 1200 DPI flatbed scanner.

Film scan is a joke.

You are better off with a lower cost, plan flatbed scanner.

If you want scan film, get a real film scanner. You don't really need...
