The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Provides Killer Tones at an Un-Killer Price

The Bottom Line: This is a great buy for intermediate hard rock guitarists. Great tone and playability for $400 leaves you enough dough to buy a decent amp!
Review: Let's cut to the chase: Who should buy this Les Paul Standard? For the $400 or so (plus tax) that this axe will cost you, this is best consumed by casual players who are looking for Gibson bite at a Epiphone price or high school hard rock garage...

Definitely a guitar "Standard" - Epiphone Les Paul Standard

The Bottom Line: If you've been longing for a Les Paul, but either can't (or won't) afford the $2,000 Gibson nametag, the Epiphone Les Paul is a great guitar in its own right.
Review: When you think of classic guitars, what comes to mind? The classic Stratocaster. The venerable acoustic dreadnaught. But how about the namesake of the first standard in electric solidbody guitars? Ah yes...Les Paul.
