Quiet, Cool, Efficient 1TB Drive

The Bottom Line: Quietest 1TB drive on the current market. Cool running, low power, benefits of 5400rpm with the performance similar to most 1TB 7200rpm drives, and faster than older 7200rpm drives.
Review: Raw performance and paper racing isn't everything when it comes to hard drives. For many, quietness and/or low heat are equally if not more important.

The Bottom Line: I recommend this drive for anyone who wants higher capacity but on a budget. This drive will not break any performance marks, but will work great for everyday use.
Review: I purchased this drive new from Best Buy a little more than a month ago for about $170. It was very easy to install and was found and setup in Windows XP. I was able to format the drive to full capacity, about 980GB, without installing or updating...
