The Best Progressive Scan DVD Player Ever Made!

Pros: Impeccable parts selection and build quality, lightning fast operation, great video and audio output.

Cons: Does not have a screensaver mode, other then that - None!

The Bottom Line: Is it the best progressive DVD player ever made? In my humble opinion the answer is Yes! Grab it used or refurbished while you can still find one around.

Review: Why would anyone review a 3 years old DVD player? Why now, when marketing departments are heating up the anticipations of the Blue Ray and HD DVD capable players and trying to brainwash everyone into buying the DVI and HDMI compatible equipment? Smart ...

Pros: Stunning redbook as a standalone player. Beautiful natural picture. Enough processor power to break encryption.

Cons: No sacd if you don't have another player. Make sure the recall has been resolved.

The Bottom Line: If you spend 2000 on another combo player before demoing a 9000 don't do it after the fact. It would make you unhappy.

Review: This is a great piece of equipment. 3500.00 original msrp and if you open it up to look inside you have to wonder how they could have made money on it at that price. This is the only piece that I've ever seen personally that compares very favorably to ...
