In particular, it adds Dolby Digital TrueHD compatibility which is geared to deliver the excellent Sound from BluRay and HD-DVD discs. The AVR-2808 provides Auto Set-Up and Room EQ by Audyssey, which helps you achieve optimized system performance for your specific room.

Best Receiver I've ever owned!

The Bottom Line: I would reccomend this receiver to anyone looking for a high end product without spending thousands of dollars. The HDMI up-conversion looks great on any HDTV.
