The 1710 delivers professional-quality documents with crisp text and sharp details at 1200x1200 dpi resolution. Designed to support high printing volumes and great usage demands, the 1710 has a monthly duty cycle of up to 15,000 pages and a large 800-sheet maximum paper capacity. It provides effortless setup and installation via USB and parallel ports. In addition, the printer comes equipped with a 366 MHz processor and 16 MB of memory (upgradeable up to 144 MB) to handle heavy loads smoothly.

Review: My office purchased this printer. Although it is relatively fast, it has several critical faults.

We added a legal size (8.5" x 11") paper tray. The printer ALWAYS defaults to this tray. An IT professional and Dell support could not solve...
