Dell is Not All That!

The Bottom Line: Stay as far away from Dell as you can. The techs are not able to diagnose before warranties run out and then you're stuck!
Review: We bought this pc 2 years ago when we upgraded from dial up to DSL and our 5 1/2 year old Compaq wasn't compatible. We thought it made sense to buy a new one rather than overhaul the old.

We went ahead thinking 512MB (back then and for XP)...

The Bottom Line: This is a very good value from dell when you consider the fact that they offer a high quality flat screen digital monitor in computer package.
Review: I got a really good deal on this system. I paid $647 (after $100 rebate) for a 5150 with 3.2 GHz HT Pentium 4 (I had read unfavorable reviews about the 2.8 Dual processors from Intel) with a 17" Ultra Sharp monitor. That was the deal clincher, HP...
