The Dell 8X DVD-ROM Drive allows you to enjoy crystal clear color, picture and sound clarity of CD and DVD read-only disks on your server. It will also prepare you for future software and large data files that will be released on CD-ROM/DVD-ROM. This drive can effectively read DVD-ROM disks having data capacities of up to 8.5 GB (Double layer), and CD-ROM disks having data capacities of up to 795 MB (CD-ROM Mode 2). It provides users with full optical read capability in one device. Featuring an IDE/ATAPI interface, this versatile internal drive delivers data transfer rates of up to 10.8 MBps on DVDs, and up to 3.6 MBps on CDs. With Digital Audio Extraction capability, this drive allows for high-quality video even when discs are scratched or dirty. Minimize
