Solid performer at a great price!

Pros: Solid, reliable, compact, a good value, progressive scan output

Cons: Progressive scan can fool you on a regular TV (read review.)

The Bottom Line: The Samsung DVD-V5000 is better built than those "bargain" brands that you'll throw away in a fe months.
