I loved my Cuisinart Smart Stick until it quit working.

I loved my Cuisinart Smart Stick CSB-76. It has a great design with a brushed chrome llok and stainless steel shaft. The blade is sharp and I love that the blade shaft is detachable and dishwasher safe. A great product that did just what I wanted - make smoothies and icy drinks, until it died. I mistakenly had a chunk of ice that was too large and it jammed the blade causing the motr to burn up. It will not turn on now. The blade still looks great. Is it my fault or the manufacturer's? I don't know, but I won't be replacing it. I have purchased a traditional blender. Pros: stainless steel construction, detachable blade that was dishwasher safe, polished chrome look Cons: Build it to handle ice
