The Bottom Line: Excellent piece of "wild west" history, recommended to anyone with an interest in the subject.
Review: When one thinks of a mountain man one often pictures a rugged, powerfully-built man with craggy features and bushy grey-streaked beard. He wears a coonskin cap, perhaps, buckskin clothing, knee-high fringed mocassins, and carries a heavy old rifle...
