The Compaq Microcom 705 Corporate Communicator gives the user phone, fax, and remote/Internet access via a personal computer and existing corporate (digital) phone lines. Compaq provides this Desktop Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) through a plug-and-play ISA card with a Universal PBX I/F, a digital 56K modem, and multi-functional CTI software. ??From a PC, a user can make and accept phone calls with caller ID recognition, send and receive faxes, and place calls.
