The Compact-Aire series is the room air conditioner that meets today's need for low cost operation. Designed with advanced engineering and a state-of-the-art rotary compressor, these units use less energy to operate. Low-cost cooling comfort in popular sizes, lighter and smaller than others, these units are easy to install. Units include the Adapt-A-Ease System for easy installation in double-hung windows from 19" to 39" wide, depending on the model. Once the unit is in place, simply spread the sliding panels to the width of the window and close the window down onto the unit. The window may be fastened to the unit for security and safety. All units feature stone white modern decorator styling front grilles with easy-to-clean, lift-out washable filters. In addition, all units have easy to use adjustable air deflectors and cross-ambient thermostat.
