Cisco Systems offers a one-port OC-48c/STM-1 Packet-over-SONET/SDH Optical Services Module for high-speed, high-density WAN connectivity. In addition to high-performance IP service delivery over POS, this module also offers four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the same module to provide additional connectivity in service provider networks. This line card enables service providers to scale WAN bandwidth and performance to OC-48 speeds, while offering a wide range of IP services that may be applied while maintaining high performance throughput.??This module features SI connectors.
