There is also a 2-seat Cargo Van. The only powertrain is a V6 and automatic transmission featuring a Tow/Haul mode, with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Antilock brakes are standard; traction control and side airbags are unavailable. Cargo models offer remote keyless entry and a rear heater for 2002.

So much to like; so much to hate

The Bottom Line: Want big space on a budget? This is your van. If you want a modern driving experience, look elsewhere. Reliability is a concern.
Review: We purchased our 2002 Astro AWD as a used car from Carmax. We bought it in 'nearly new' condition with about 16,000 miles on it.

The Bottom Line: I'd recommend the Astro for those that fit the niche market of needing space, trailering and load carrying ability.

Love This Dorky looking Van!!

The Bottom Line: Awesome large Van with small truck engine!
Review: I needed a large van/SUV for my family of seven, three are triplets! I needed a car large enough for three car seats. I also wanted a can with seats that could be taken out in case I need to put very large items from Home Depot, Sam's Clubs etc...
