Product Description

 
The Astro Cargo Van is available in 2WD and AWD. Safety and security improvements include a battery-rundown protection system, automatic headlamp control, and lockout provision. The lockout provision prevents the driver door from locking in the event that the key is left in the ignition. The optional remote keyless entry includes panic alarm. Other improvements feature a plastic fuel tank with 27-gallon capacity and a quieter V6 engine. New standard features include 15-inch steel wheels, flash-to-pass feature and retained accessory power. Retained accessory power feature maintains power to accessories for 20 minutes after ignition is turned off. Running boards, luggage carrier, and a child security sliding-door lock are optional this year.

2000 Astro van is a leaking boat in the rain!

The Bottom Line: No, I wouldn't recommend this 2000 Astro van, but maybe another year model would be better. I keep comparing it to my fantastic 1995 Astro van.
Review: Lovely teal color. Strong back and front bumpers that do not dent with minor accidents. Great side mirrors but as with all vans there is still a blind spot. Ease of movement on sliding side door but why doesn't everyone have doors on both sides? I...
