Product Description

 
The Vega Series subwoofers are designed to be used in bass-reflex (vented) enclosures for optimum performance and long term reliability. Vega subwoofer cones are made of Kev-Lite. "Kev" is the strong part. It's short for Kevlar, the stuff bulletproof-vests are made of. Vega engineers have taken this little miracle polymer and had their way with it. Mixed with hardwood pulp, a cone with L.A.P.D. stiffness and New York ballet lightness was created. The result of it helps to give you both high power handling and high efficiency. And years of unrelenting throb. This Vega 154 has a 35cm cutout diameter!

Review: I have the dual 4-ohm voice coil version (15D4) of this subwoofer. I have it set up in a 2-ohm load and powered correctly (at ~500W RMS) boy does this thing bump.
