The Vega Series subwoofers are designed to be used in bass-reflex (vented) enclosures for optimum performance and long term reliability. Vega subwoofer cones are made of Kev-Lite. "Kev" is the strong part. It's short for Kevlar, the stuff bulletproof-vests are made of. Vega engineers have taken this little miracle polymer and had their way with it. Mixed with hardwood pulp, a cone with L.A.P.D. stiffness and New York ballet lightness was created. The result of it helps to give you both high power handling and high efficiency. Great sub for HUGE bass

Pros: Capable of being very loud, sound pretty good
Cons: Tinsles are too short for the throw these are capable of
The Bottom Line: Very good sub if you have the space and the power. Very good performer for the size and money.
