Pros: Fast Focus, Bright, Reach, Sharp, Sharp
Cons: Weight and weight and Cost
The Bottom Line: If you need the reach and bright view finder (sports or wild life) this a great lens. More flexible than the 600 and much faster (F2.8).
Review: Is this a great lens? Yes. Is it heavy and will it take practice to use it. Yes. This lens is not a lens that you can pick up and simply use. A heavy tripod and a Gimbal type tripod head is a must. The IS makes hand holdable possible only for the ...

Pros: tack sharp, true pro lens, Image stabilization
Cons: heavy and pricey
The Bottom Line: for the best you can buy this is it just work out first to carry it
