Pinch Me! Gamble on a Canon Printer pays off !!

Pros: Very fast! Very inexpensive to operate. Very nice looking. Very nice output.
Cons: Flimsy construction. "Scan" is a scam. Horribly complex Software Setup. Allow 2-3 hours.
The Bottom Line: An exciting novelty with some overdesign at the expense of functionality. Still worth every penny. Buy one, you'll like it.

It's the cost of the ink, not the cost of the printer

Pros: Good quality with low-cost inks. Quiet. Photo-printing features.
Cons: Will need dusting. No document feeder or fax.
The Bottom Line: You'll save money by spending more up front for a Canon that costs less per page. I recommend this for quality, noise, and price per page.

Inexpensive Ink. Great Quality. Lots of Features. Am I Getting a Dell? Heck, No!

Pros: All-In-One, inexpensive, dual paper trays, multiple memory slots, speed, low priced ink.
Cons: Some cheap components may break easily, no auto power on/off mode.
The Bottom Line: The bottom line is if you are looking for a printer with good quality, speed, inexpensive to buy and own then the MP500 is perfect.
