Product Description

 
The CTS comes in a single trim level but numerous option packages enable buyers to add varying levels of additional luxury- and sport-oriented features. Standard equipment includes leather seating, side and head-protecting side-curtain airbags, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, a CD player, the OnStar communications system, ABS and traction control. Upgrades through the Luxury package include items like a power passenger seat, a two-driver memory package, heated front seats, HomeLink and wood trim on the steering wheel and shift lever. Additional options include a sunroof and an upgraded Bose audio package with a DVD-based navigation system and satellite radio.

Base CTS -- how much do you give up?

The Bottom Line: Even in base trim, a thoroughly acceptable car. Want thrills? Get the 3.6 or V-Series.
Review: I'd driven--and reviewed--the CTS is pretty much every permutation. But I'd yet to sample the new-for-2005 2.8-liter V6, non-V six-speed manual, base suspension, or standard vinyl upholstery. So when a dealership nearby ordered a car with no options...

CTS - Pretty sporty for an entry level Caddie.

The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a sedan with luxury features such as programmable seats and mirrors, but want sporty performance the CTS is a good option.

CTS Sport - Flashy looks, performance & luxury

The Bottom Line: This is a loaded $41K car that can be bought for many thousands less that will compete with cars costing many thousands more and limited 0% financing.
Review: CONS UPDATE 1/21/08 I just replaced the Bridgestone Tires - They wore evenly and gave 37,640 miles of service - WOW The car has never been aligned since new - this is a big plus as well
