Cabrito Blanco Tequila

Product Description

"Clear with a metallic gray tint. Medium-bodied. Dried herbs, agave, white pepper. Forward aromas are generous and complex, showing a fine agave character. Lush, supple and rounded without real cut, but very smooth. Shows very little burn through the finish." -Rated 88, Tastings.com

I see no reason why people should buy this stuff

Date of Review:  May 9, 2002
The Bottom Line: Works well when paired with orange juice and served on the rocks. Compared to some off-brands and some funky generics, this is an okay tequila. But not recommended.
Review: Sauza is the most popular tequila brand in Mexico, even though -- in terms of production -- it lags behind Jose Cuervo.

I've been a Sauza drinker for a few years and there are a number of Sauza products that I do enjoy. I always thought...

Honest Straightforward Sauza Makes Good Drinks and Relaxing Weekends

Date of Review:  Feb 4, 2002
The Bottom Line: Sauza Blanco is a thoroughly average tequila, but one that is affordable and makes a great margarita!
Review: Die-hard tequila aficianados will probably string me up by my heels for saying this, but I firmly believe that the average quality of tequilas sold today is quite good, and that most big-name brands (like Sauza) are solid, well-made products that...

Pros
Inexpensive tequila with a fresh agave...
Cons
Not for the purist

Hey, stop right there!

Date of Review:  Apr 8, 2003
The Bottom Line: Hard, harsh and tasteless. No agave presence worth noting, and considering its mixto status, an insult to your wallet.
Review: Sauza may be a big name when it comes to tequila. Maybe that is the main reason why I cannot explain why they dare to offer such mediocre tequila like this blanco. Funny thing is: lots of retired americans living down here in Mexico simply LOVE this...
