The MFC-4600 is a 5-in-1 Laser MFC that combines performance, connectivity, speed, and reliability at a price that certainly fits any budget. The MFC-4600 has functionality that includes a full-feature fax that transmits a standard page in about six seconds and a 600 x 600 dpi, 6ppm laser printer. The MFC-4600 also includes convenience copying with multi-copying (up to 99) and reduction/enlargement from 50-200%, a 600 x 600 dpi (interpolated) resolution scanner that's bundled ScanSoft PaperPort and TextBridge OCR software and PC Fax capabilities that allow you to send and broadcast faxes directly from your PC through standard phone lines or the Internet.

Sigh ... oh Brother not again.

The Bottom Line: This decent, low-cost device is horribly marred by lousy software and drivers.

The Bottom Line: A good value if you don't mind occasional fixes, jams and marginal performance on its other components.
