HL-1470N We like it.

Pros: Very quiet, fast. Cost per page is very low. Networking through router works very well.
Cons: Envelopes are a pain but OK. Setup for XP network is confusing but works well.
The Bottom Line: Can't go wrong with this one.
Review: We have had good luck with Brother printers so we bought this Network model. Our reasons were the speed, price and low cost per page. We are using XP and have it networked through a Netgear router to three computers. We don't have to leave a print server...

Pros: Good value: fast, networked, and easy to setup.
Cons: Second paper tray expensive; consumables expensive at higher volumes
The Bottom Line: The 1470N is perfect for a small office/low-volume networked printer.
Review: We bought about 20 of these to use in lower-volume (fewer than 2000 pages per month) locations. For a networked laser printer that speaks both Postscript and PCL they are a real bargain, especially considering their 15 page-per-minute speed (although...
