Focus. Keep Your Head Down. Don't Ever Attract Faeries' Attention a?|

The Bottom Line: Wicked Lovely is a convincing mix of the fairytale and gritty urban worlds with a heroine who is brave, resourceful, and compassionate, and learns from her mistakes.
Review: Aislinn—Ash—can see faeries and that's not a good thing. The faeries in her gritty urban world are elemental and powerful, at best capricious to malicious, and at worst murderous. So Ash, whose parents are dead, is hemmed about by her grandmother's...

Worth reading, but not quite memorable

The Bottom Line: Wicked Lovely is an enthertaing and worthwhile read, but it won't become your next favorite book.
Review: Wicked Lovely  was... okay. The premise was somewhat interesting, but even better was the unexpected way everything wraps up.

Marr is definitely trying to write a modern fairy tale, and she succeeds, but unfortunately her style of writing...
