Books: A Memoir...a Disappointment for this Lifelong Bibliophile.

Pros: Good, fluid writing, a fast read...

Cons: So focused on "bookmen" that the rest of us might not relate to it.

The Bottom Line: A book about books that left me cold...but if you're a Bookman yourself, you might enjoy this 2008 confection.

Review: I love books. I have all my life. My father's living room has 15,000 books in it, and there are more stashed throughout his house. I'm not nearly the collector he is, but I've got a respectable library myself. This love of books is what had me pick...
