Pros: Usual quality Koontz material, interesting dialogue, fair suspense.

Cons: Sometimes preachy, quick climax, nothing original.

The Bottom Line: Worth reading if you need something quick, but has some flaws and Koontz fans can probably avoid this one and not miss much.
