Author and director Michael Moore presents this not-so-objective guide to the 2008 presidential election. Moore is the consummate contrarian and barb in the side of the establishment as he identifies the major issues in the campaign--unions, the minimum wage, big business, immigration, taxes, etc.--and explains how the two parties line up on each one. If he is sometimes mocking (and he is), it is with good intent; Moore is really serious, and he backs it all up with a lot of research. A voter guide for those who do not like voter guides. Minimize

Pros: Some very valid ideas to consider between now and Election Day.

Cons: If you don't like Michael Moore, don't read this book.

The Bottom Line: Very vocal, very outspoken views on the upcoming election. But there's sense in lot of what he's saying too.

Well written with both humorous and serious discussions of problems in our country
