Author and director Michael Moore presents this not-so-objective guide to the 2008 presidential election. Moore is the consummate contrarian and barb in the side of the establishment as he identifies the major issues in the campaign--unions, the minimum wage, big business, immigration, taxes, etc.--and explains how the two parties line up on each one. If he is sometimes mocking (and he is), it is with good intent; Moore is really serious, and he backs it all up with a lot of research. A voter guide for those who do not like voter guides.

Mike's Election Guide 2008: Your handy dandy book for November 4th

The Bottom Line: Very vocal, very outspoken views on the upcoming election. But there's sense in lot of what he's saying too.

AMUSING AND RELEVANT "HANDBOOK" FOR UPCOMING ELECTIONS

The Bottom Line: Moore has an actual guide to this election season that can be helpful if read.
Review: Michael Moore is a "love him or hate him" kind of guy. I'm generally in the former category although I admit he sometimes goes a little overboard in his presentation of his ideas.
