As we watch Richard juggle school and theater, fall in love, and discover that Welles is cheating on his wife with Richard's girlfriend, we also see a portrait of Orson Welles as a creative genius.

The Bottom Line: As a novel about Orson Welles, theater, and/or the 1930s, it's great. However, don't expect much from the main character.
Review: When I go to the library, I usually bypass the Young Adult section. I really have no time for the books about orphans or cutters or orphan cutters that my 14 year-old sister seems to bring home. I'm almost 19 now, and I read my first grown-up novel...
