The Bottom Line: A compelling character study typical of Miller, this exemplary work became a perennial favorite of the American theatre and a symbol of both our dreams and our faults.

Pros: Story, plot, dialogue, characters
Cons: Biff/happy relationship, dated
Review: "The Crucible" was the first Arthur Miller play we read in English class this year. I thought it was impressive. Then we began reading "Death Of A Salesman" about three weeks ago, and it's the play I wished I read earlier.
