Bad Dirt = Good Writing

The Bottom Line: Annie Proulx showcases her short-stories once more with Bad Dirt. Come here looking for hilarity and humility, but don't expect adjectives slathered over every noun.
Review: If you've ever lived west of the Mississippi, raise your hand. Good.
If you lived outside the Mountain Time Zone, lower it. Good.
If you didn't live in Wyoming, lower it.
