Christopher Bigsby, a former student and long-time friend of Arthur Miller, has compiled the most comprehensive biography to date on the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright. Aided by access to never-before-seen personal papers and private effects, Bigsby focuses intensely on the early part of Miller's life, which resonated throughout his life and work.
